Join us Saturday, January 18, 2025, 8am-9:30am PT, as Rev. Jean Celia presents “Opening Doors!”
On Christmas Eve 2024, Pope Francis commenced a centuries-long Catholic tradition, opening a series of five Holy Doors throughout the Vatican. The Pope also introduced a first-time addition to the holy ritual. It was the first time a pope has opened a Holy Door at a prison, in this case, the Roman prison Rebibbia.
What an inspiration to invite us to contemplate our own doors, opening and closing through Grace. Representing endings and beginnings. Even being willing to open the door to our own prison, our own fears and darkness.
“Celebrate endings. For they precede new beginnings.” (Jonathan Lockwood
Huie)
In Truth, what seems like endings and beginnings are really transitions, shifts. As our 2024 slides into our 2025, it is a perfect time to celebrate inspired change, our own shift in consciousness and awareness.
